Devil Curry

1 whole chicken (cut into 8pcs & marinate with salt)
2 cup of oil

Method:
  1. Heat in medium fire. Pour oil in wok & fry the chicken, half-cooked. Keep aside.
500g beef or mutton (cut into small pcs)
4 big potatoes (cut quarterly & fry)
10 baby carrots
2 tomatoes (cut into 6 pcs)
1/2 cabbage (cut 1 length)
1 cucumber (cut 1 length)
3 stalks lemongrass (smashed)
1" fresh turmeric
2 big onion (diced)
2 big onion
5 cloves of garlic
2" ginger
1 tbsp mustard seeds
4 tbsp vinegar
1/2 cup chili paste
salt to taste
2 tbsp rock sugar
3 tbsp sweet soy sauce
1 tbsp lemon or lime juice
2 tbsp olive oil
2 pcs turmeric leave (pluck 2)

Method:
  1. Blend the garlic, ginger, fresh turmeric, onion into a paste.
  2. Heat in a medium fire, add in the paste, mustard seeds, lemon juice, chili together with the turmeric leave, saute till fragrance.
  3. Stir in the diced onion, lemongrass & meat. Cook about 10mins.
  4. Add in vinegar, chicken, carrot, cabbage, cucumber, potatoes, sugar & soy sauce.
  5. Pour in about 3 cups water, add in salt to taste.
  6. Cook for another 10mins, if u prefer more gravy.. add more otherwise, this is just right.
  7. Lastly add the tomatoes. Off the fire. Serve with french loaf or plain rice.
