Black Pompret with Chilies

Black pompret with chilies

1 or 2 Black pomprets
2 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp turmeric powder
salt to taste
2 cup oil
1 cup sambal garlic
1 or 2 small lime

Method:
  1. Wash pompret till clean & cut half.
  2. Smear the fish till it is covered with paprika, turmeric powder, salt.
  3. Heat in medium fire, pour oil in the wok & fry the fish till golden brown.
  4. Strain & keep aside.
  5. In a saucepan, add the sambal garlic & pompret, stir continuously in a low fire.
  6. Serve with squeeze lime juice, together with lettuce.
